    The main raw materials of high manganese steel casting include manganese, carbon, silicon and other elements.

    Manganese (Mn)

    Content generally above 11%. Improves wear resistance, toughness, and hardness while reducing low-temperature brittleness and hot work hardening tendency.

    Carbon (C)

    Content usually between 0.9%-1.3%. Improves hardness and strength, but will reduce toughness and impact resistance.

    Silicon (Si)

    Content generally between 0.2%-0.5%. Improves toughness and impact resistance, while reducing brittleness and porosity.

    Chromium (Cr)
